This I a very small bug, but I don’t know what it is.
Mi guess is its some kind of beetle.
I did not use a tripod so the picture is a bit soft

Very nice macro closeup of this cool arthropod. The red insect is sharp and has excellent contrast on the super nice soft green background. :)

hi fernando
je pense qu'il s'agit d'un Rhagonycha fulva (telephone fauve),il est tres bien presenté ici avec une bonne lumiere est un BG bien fait.

Hello Fernando, nice picture ! marmottelolo is right, it's a TelephoRe fauve, a "cousin" of the cantharide. Good composition, those guys are quite funny to take, i noticed they keep on climbing to the top of their weed, then bend it down to the ground because of their weight, and then starting over again ! Regarding to the softness (not so terrible by the way), i'm not sure it's caused by a handheld cam at 1/250, could it be some diffraction caused by closing F/Stop at 22 ? (i don't dare to venture beyond F/14 - F /16 with the canon 100 macro). Best regards, J.

Hello Fernando,
Cute bug :) You have done a great job for f/22 and hand held. The red looks very nice on all green background and leaf. I loved the boke.

Greetings,
Ahmet
