October 20, 2004 On the edge of the Channel of the SlavesI noticed this fresh water crab. I found on Internet a name "fluviatile Potamon", but I do not know anything of this species. IF somebody can supplement my information, thank you.
He was flees in the edge of the channel, and shows his head from time to time. |

Very nice and sharp capture of this crab Jacques. Plenty of details on the legs, shield and stalked eyes. Great colours and good composition.

I don not know much about crabs and do not eat them as well, but I do know that you captured this one very well. The DOF and sharpness is excellent.
