Hi Stephen
Wow.... mind blowing information, 'The tracks have since been dated to almost 400 million years ago and are regarded as among the earliest footprints known to science, and certainly the oldest known footprints in Europe.' It is so hard to try and image what it must have been like all those thousands of years ago. Will there still be 'Earth' in another 400 million years? I guess not is 'we' don't start looking after it better. Awesome work. Thanks.
Hello Stephen,
Superb post! It's great to see a lovely landscape, but it's way better to see a lovely landscape with interesting FG! It's really difficult to find something more interesting for FG than footprints nearly half a billion years old!
I took a look as WS and I must admit I like the other picture a little bit better. Lately I've seen lots of lovely landscape shots with portrait framing and I somehow like them more now.
Anyway, this is an exceptional shot!
Huge smiley for that!!!

Stephen - what a wonderful foreground to the Valentia Islands.
In some ways I actually prefer this picture ot the one on TE or the WS simply becuase the other views are far more common and 'typical'. guess its the foreground that made it for me, though the rocks on the right need a little less exposure...

Hi Stephen,
I like this image for the fascinating foreground. I think I agree with Monika about your workshop photo. I like the portrait format better. The compositional lines leading into the scene on that one are really nice. Thanks for sharing such an interesting site with us.
