The birs looks very interested in his own job, as you say, looking for insects. Interesting that the foreground colours are much the same as the background ones and still the picture is clear. Very nice image.

I think the ID is right, the white triangle both sides of the tail ans the black tip, but I do not know your Europeen birds! Compo just great, the whole image sings a sweet melody!

Gert, I like the composition and colours on this one. For me the bird is less essential as we usually see in nature shots. I love the composition as a whole.

I was cruising through your photo's and this one caught my eye. This is a simple yet a natural image of this little Whinchat. A nice birds eye view in a natural setting. I also love how she is gazing out checking her territory. Nicely framed, warm sharp colours and great composition. I also like that you left a few leaves in your images.
