[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The sub-Himalayan ranges in north western India in the states of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh are picturesque, especially in autumn after the monsoons.
In district Chamba of Himachal Pradesh, the old hill station of Dalhousie and its surroundings are verdant and pleasantly cool during summers and autumns. In winters, they receive moderate to heavy snow fall.

I took this picture of a place called Khajjiar 18 kms away from Dalhousie on an overcast afternoon in the autumn of 1996. It is the scan of an old photograph. In the PP work, the levels have deliberately been raised to enhance colours and contrasts. The sky is flat and white on a cloudy day, and unattractive on account of that.

Hello Ram,
I agree on the sky, but the rest is superb!
The layeer of evergreens fading, the wonderful autumn colours, the pleasant reflections... All very appealing to me!
A very fine composition, where there is a lot of activity going on in the field, and with the white house as an eye-catcher... Nice!

Wow! Hello Ram! This one is so beautiful my friend! Colours are great! You're right if the blue sky there was, it could be superb! But i like this landscape a lot. Although it's a scanned picture, it has great colours and details! Thank you!
