I always want butterflies pictures (whenever possible, of course) to include some pretty, colorful flower like this. I like your POV and tight framing. In spite of stopping down to f/16 and flash use your background is not dark at all. I guess the leaves behind must have been really close to the subject. Regards,

What an amzing mosaic of colors! This is indeed a very spectacular butterfly and i would like to know its name, too.

Danke - Dir für Deine Wünsche und das erstklassige Schmetterlingsfoto. Du hast diesen an und für sich ziemlich unscheinbaren Schmetterling (im Schmetterlingshaus)zu einer Schönheit gemacht. Einfach toll Sabine!!! IN diesem Fall war der Blitz goldrichtig! Technisch - wie immer perfekt. Schade nur, daß es nicht von mir ist. ;-)

Some days no seeing your gallery and I found many interesting and beautiful pictures.
This is incredible, the butterfly has a "barroque" design in its wings. The details and composition that you captured are very good.I never see a butterfly like this.
