Aporia crataegi - family Pieridae.

This is the second one picture from my last butterfly trip ;-)
Aporia crataegi is the biggest specie from family Pieridae in Europe. The wingspan is up to 65 mm. The black lines on the wings makes the identification easy but some not experirnced in butterflies people can't recognize these species.
There are two similiar day-flying species:
Parnassius mnemosyne
Siona lineata.

More than a 20 years ago Black-veined White was very common but now it's a rather rare species. In my opinion the range where it's available increases every year.

Rare in Portugal and an in dagerous specie.
