did nt know they did this...after about 2 mins and my hands shaking the big one got mad and they went off buzzing attached to each other..
cheers..
got so excited forgot to use aperture priority mode for dof...but got a decent speed..
flash doesnt work on macro settings..dohhhhhhh!

Hello Geof,
Popped into the gallery and this was the first picture I saw. Great macro, wonderful detail and I'm guessing from your note that you're not happy with the DOF. I think it's just about spot-on, perfect detail on the Lady and the outer limit of the DOF is visible just beyond her. BTW I think she is a little camera shy, she seems to be turning her head away :-) Great shot.

guess it must happen, but its not something you see that often and to capture it is great. I think your DOF is fine - I often forget to change over as well. you have some great detail and light on that wing and you did well.
