you are free to believe me or not.... :-) but that in the photo is a holy olive tree that exist 'til the times of Saint Frances (San Francesco d'Assisi).
For sure there is the wood that is from 1200 d.c. but the foliage is from another Olive tree that was planted many years after....:-)
This subjestive plant was growing near the holy franciscan place called Eremo delle Carceri on Mount Subasio near Assisi (Central Italy. A retiring place where the Saint went to prey and to find God on the beautiful of Nature.....
