[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the very vivid and colourfull sights I passed when driving up north. I just had to stop the car and take a picture of this, because it really gave me a very joyfull feeling. I like the colours so much! This is really summertime!
If anybody could help me with 'cropping' a bit of the sky and explaining to me how he did it... Would be very helpfull! I would like the focus on the flowers and little less on the sky.
Hope you like the picture anyway. I do! ;)

Hello Geert,
I agree... the colours are beautiful!
Complying to your request I include a workshop showing one way to make a different cropping, but there are many other working ways too...
Have a look and let me know what you think!
Regards,
Pablo -

Hello Geert,
Normally when the horizon is in the middle the photo is a little boring, but sometimes you can break the rule of third.
This is a place where you can break that rule. With such a sky and colorful foreground you can try that. But try other objects in the horizon.
Best regards, Jan-arie

Magnífica vista... y colores tan agradables, creo que el arreglo de pablominto, mejora el bonito paisaje. saludos

Hi Geert,
this is a very nice view from a part of my country.
I'm very familiar with this place, "Uppsala-slätten"m I have passed this place 1000th of times when I worked in Uppsala and I can assure you, I had no plans to stop and take a picture of this beautiful field, I think it's called "home-blind".
The colours are lovely, well composed and good POV.
maybe it's a bit soft but thats a minor nit.
Well done.

Gert

I like the simple composition - it forces you to concentrate on the colours. They are absolutely stunning here

Hi Geert,
The details are nice and clear. Sharpness is a bit off, but the colours are fantastic.
lighting and exposure are good. The POV is good.
Pablos Workshop explains the cropping process well.
Thanks for posting, have a great week.

Nice pic. Framing it would have helped definitely.

In this case, in my humble opinion, it's not necessary to crop the sky. I think with those clouds there's a lot going on there and it adds to the almost vast infinity of the location. And those colours! Man! It's the big blue with the big yellow in opposite to each other; with the human society squeezed in between. Looks great!

bravo

Super colors..
Large blue an yellow and narrow green..
Great composition,..

I like two lines from tree to middle of the yellow field..
Gives a special diagonal with the cloud on the sky..

Best regards,
Sandu

Hi, Geert.
Nice shot. Very good exposure and colors and beautiful lines in sky.

Geert,
Pablo did a great job on this lovely register.
Reminds me of our summer here in Alberta, Canada.
Excellent clarity.
Very well focused & composed.
Love it.
Best regards,
Mario.

Hi Geert,

Geert, as I said in the RP I like this shot better! For one thing there is no disturbing frame, two the colours are more natural...

I would also like t mention that I don't think we should get too hung up on 1/3 2/3 kinda stuff... To wit you have some nice crossing lines in the photo , from or abt to the corners.
In the sky we see contrails, in the field tiretracks.

Gert mentioned a wee softness; but again, at times that can be more pleasing than unnatural sharpness! So I will smile upon you here Geert ;) Tfs, Jay

PS Sorry I misssed this post when first done... but I was not on TN yet.
PS2 Judging by the antenna mast the horizon could be adjusted. I have done a WS, but can't post it till later today
