[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a shot I took while we visiting Auckland Zoo. At that time, some parts of the Zoo are under construction to expand in order to accomdate the new comer, "Little Blue Penguin".

While we were visiting the Meerkat, I took a few shots of them, they are gorgeous animal. And this one was standing still for a couple of minites, just enough for me to take the shots.

Below is the information I got from Auckland Zoon webside:

- Meerkat is mammal, they came from Africa, their natural habitat is grassland, they eat meat and plants.

- Meerkats rarely drink as they mainly live in desert.

- Meerkats live underground burrows, not only it provides protection from its predators, but underground burrows is also cooler.

Critiques [Translate]

Very cute little animal. I like the pose, the kind of mischievous eye looking at you, and the typical paws position. The photo is a bit out of focus and colors are washed due to a lack of contrast. Grass shoots in the back are a bit distracting. But it remains a cute shot. Thanks for posting. See workshop.

Good shot of this little fellow. He is standing up so upright, like the Telecom TV advert. Jean Michel (Ornis) did a good workshop on it. Thank you for showing.

Nice shot, great pose. Focus a bit soft and the picture needs a bit more contrast.

I like this setting and composition a lot Sweety. The sharpness an expossure is very good. The cutenes factor is through the roof.
