| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This picture was scanned from a slide I took with my old Olympus OM1N in the Lokobe Nature Reserve in Nosy Be, the largest island of Madagascar, off its north west coast.
Lemurs are primates that are unique to Madagascar.
The female of the black lemur is brown - this lady has her infant clinging onto her back but, nonetheless, was still able to leap about the forest with ease. But she wasn't shy and I had to take off my telephoto and put on a standard 50mm lens to get this shot. Wonderful creatures!
Hope you enjoy. |

A wee bit of contrast wouldn't have gone amiss here, but I still give you a two-banger for the good shot of a rare (in my mind) animal.

hi John,
first of all welcome here on TN (TrekNature).
nice POV, with a spot sharpness in my oppinion.
maybe more space around the animal, specially around the head and also pity that one legs and the tail are cut.
i hope you will like here, TFS (Thanks For Sharing),

Hallo John,
thank you for posting this picture out of the pre-digital era. I always like to see the unique - often threatend - species from Madagascar.
A nice nature document.
Best wishes, Peter
