Splendid capture you have here!

Beautiful light 'in' the butterfly. On focus.
In nature. Without flash (some will not like it I find this positive:-).
Not really negative but maybe a bit distracting is the high purple flower contrast.
I'll go for a workshop in cropping so that the focus is more on the well photographed butterfly.
Anyway...good work!!

The light of this photo it's magic...! Great picture of this butterfly, lovely colours and a nice detail. But I agree with Annick, a crop function much better in this photo... Anyway, still a wonderful shot!

You are right with the ID, it's a brimstone - male.

the butterfly give almost light, well taken composition, great point of view, one thing for the composition maybe a crop so that the butterfly, is out of the middle, father great job.
