[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Shot taken at 8am at the beach. This bird is called quero-quero in Brazil. He is very common at the south of the country - it is the official symbol of Rio Grande do Sul (even though this picture was taken in Florianopolis, capital of Santa catarina state). He does his nest on the ground, not trees, and gets very mad if someones gets near it.
