| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The Wild dogs are one the finest specimens of group hunting. The dogs in general are found in packs of 12 -15 and follow in a single line formation before they scent the hunt. Once the quarry is cornered the pack moves in , and attacks the prey's legs. As the wounded fall to the ground the pack moves and starts tearing and eating the prey before it dies.
This is a shot of a single dog as the pack passed me. The shot was taken at Nagarhole |

wow i've not seen one of these before, strange looking beast!
Although the image is a tad blurred and the colours a bit faint, i can appreciate that it not always easy to get set bp quickly enough!
Good shot, thanks for sharing,
Paul
Colors are slaved, sharpness is not good.
It'd be a great shot because the subject is really unusual, but the pic is wrong.

Good capture of the wild dog. I improved the shot in Photoshop Elements: My goal was to sharpen the photo, but at the same time remove the color cast producing more vivid colors.

Hi,
Dangerous & rare specimen! Unlike the domesticated types they are ferocious. Good & difficult picture. Cheers.
