Phalacrocorax auritus
Eventhough its a waterbird and hunt fish by diving into water, remarkbly their feather is not waterproof like ducks. So once in a while they have to dry their feather by spreading open their wing. |

The king of the pests. These birds damage the eco system, not only that, they eat all kinds of native fish which is depleating the lakes, and they feed on alwives which salmon and trout feed on. How damaging are they? Look em up on the internet.

Ricardo, it is a great shot but I can only echo Philip with regard to gettign both in focus. Excellent work.
Quite a good shot, though its to small to allow us to see all the detail. Remember you can post 800x800 pixels on TN.
