[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After a disappointing evening game drive in Western Serengeti, we were on our way back to camp as the Sun was setting. The Sun slowly turned Golden Orange and we positioned ourselves in front of the Acacia tree and waited for the Sun to go down a little more till it looked as though it was sitting on the top of the tree. The result was a fascinating African sunset with hues of yellow, orange and red.

Good shot VS of the sun sitting on top of the tree. Beautiful sunset colours. I think it would have made a good shot also with the sun even lower in the sky through the tree itself. Well done.

Acacia - symbol of Africa. Great photo, sun is centrally placed, but so what. Superb African mood. TFS!

I think red45 is right, this image has captured the typical African Mood, you can almost see the animals bedding down for the night, the colours of the sky are beautiful, although it does look to be a bit grainy, What ISO was used?

Nice shot, good idea and you used the oportunity well. It may have looked better through the tree as Janice said, or if you had move the tree and sun slightly to one side. But that's only my opinion, its still a great shot.

I quite like this scene. It is typical Africa :) I posted a workshop, hope you like it.

Except of the noise, the rest is PERFECT.

Sudhir, this is an awesome sunset, and deserves many more points but .....
you have to also critique others photo's (you get 20 smileys everyday)you will find that once you start doing that regularly your work will also be critiqued more, this is what these sites are about, learning from each other (ok I'm leaving my soapbox now....smile)
