Well hello again, Monika!
So nice to hear from you again! How's UK? Are you studying there?
Anyway, coming back to the picture, its great to see one from you!
Excellent one, with a very interesting pose from the dragonfly indeed. I've seen this behaviour as well...it really does look wierd...it probably due to the fact that as we speak, in Danemark there are the World Gymnastics Championchips :))
Seriosly, i reallu like the sharp detaisl and the DOF, the lovely BG, framing and composition!
Great work!
Bravo and TFS

Hi Monika,
This is a very strange position indeed and I like this POV. Details are good, except one one wing but I guess it was moving, it gives a sens of mouvement to the picture anyway . Nice compo and colors and TFS,
Claudine

Hi Monika,
It has been such a long time since I last looked in on you.As always your macro images are just amazing. This is an interesting angle and pose.Lovely detail and colour.Good contrast of the subject on the branch.Well done and enjoy England.
Regards, David
Hey, Monika, Welcome to the UK, I hope you are enjoying it.
This is a good, simple yet effective composition, and it fits perfectly with the title.
I tried many dragonfly shots this summer and it's so difficult to get the focus point right with such a shallow DOF. You've got the head sharp which is the main thing. I can't even manage that! It's an interesting pose, I often see them stick their tails up but not that far.
It looks more than a little over-exposed to me, though, perhaps even 1 stop.

Dear Monika, since I've been in London, what does the expression "mind the gap" mean there?
As for the photo, I like it.
Great pov and composition. I like the obelisk pose too.
