On a four day trip, we went to the Ardennes in Belgium. We rented a little apartment in the middle of a forest there. And this is one of our views when we walked out of our apartment.
You could cross over the little bridge to walk deeper into the forest.
I took this one early in the morning, when it was still a little bit cloudy. But the sun was trying to show itself.
Here's some info on the Ardennes I found on Wikipedia:
The Ardennes (pronounced ar-DEN) (Dutch: Ardennen) is a region of extensive forests and rolling hill country, primarily in Belgium and Luxembourg, but stretching into France (lending its name to the Ardennes département and the Champagne-Ardenne région).
Much of the Ardennes is covered in dense forests, with hills averaging around 350-500 m (1148-1640 ft) in height but rising to over 650 m (2132 ft) in the boggy moors of the Hautes Fagnes (Hohes Venn) region of north-eastern Belgium. The region is typified by steep-sided valleys carved by fast-flowing rivers, the most prominent of which is the Meuse. Its principal cities, Ličge and Namur, are both in the Meuse valley. The Ardennes is otherwise relatively sparsely populated.
The Eifel range in Germany adjoins the Ardennes and is part of the same geological formation, although they are conventionally regarded as being two distinct areas. |

Hola Nel, hermoso y histórico lugar, lleno de vegetación me gusta el pov. elegido, saludos
Hello Nel,
This looks like a fairytale place!
The deep mysterious forest, the river and not the least that bridge..! Reading your note once again it doesn't say you actually crossed it, looks like something you'd expect to find in the deepest of Borneo rain forest...
Greetings,
Pablo -
Nel,
I love the capture of the reflection of the sun on the tumbling river water.
Loved your notes too.
Great focusing.
Very sharp.
A great register.
Regards, Mario.
