[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Fruit of the wild nr 4 is the MARULA -
Marulas grow on trees, it is found mainly in the Northern Province of South Africa, Marula trees have evergreen leaves, the fruit is seasonal, fruit ripens from January to early March, their size differs according to the amount of rain it received but ussually grows no smaller than the size of a Walnut.

Marula fruit has a sharp but pleasant fragrance that is very unique, the same of the flavor.
It consists of a fairly thick skin (starts out green but turns bright yellow when ripe) covering a velvety soft, sweet tasting whitish flesh surrounding a fairly hard pip, inside the pip we find the Marula nut which is one of the nicest nuts to eat, very small, little bigger/longer than the tip of a earbud
(very scarse) the skin, flesh and nut is edible and very tasty. Locals (of the human kind), animals (from Monkeys to Elephants) and birds love this fruit...(smile)

The liquer Amarula is made from this fruit.
Tec note:
I had to resize/shrink it so much that it lost most of it's quality,which is a pity, still cannot be helped.

Hi Miq, you have placed the fruit well on the photo. Interesting shot. TFS.
Sure you wouldn't have to resize it so small to get to 800 pixels. Even taking off 1 pixel quickly brings it down to under the 200 maximum whatevers.

I likw what you have done here, and the marula fruit looks good in the front. I think you can save to 650 high X balance, and still get a big enough file. All my files are around 100 k only, 700 wide x balance, or 600 hgh X balalce, before I add the frame. If you use save for web, there is no problem, normally.

I have see videos of elephants and a whole load of animals getting really 'high' after eating the ripe and rotting marula fruit.
