Fall is my favorite time to visit the Pacific Northwest rain forests when the vine maples punctuate all the green with their glorious color.
The higher country at Mount Rainier National Park is decorated with glorious reds and yellows of huckleberry and Mountain Ash. The lower elevations are rainforests of conifer and vine maple. |

Glorious is the word, Evelynn.
Wow, the light on that red patch is just fantastic. : )
Really good details and a wonderful mix of colors.

Hi Evelynn,
I think I will need to split my vacation days next year and take a break during the fall season to see some of the stunning fall colors in other parts of the world. Who knows a visit to your area might be a good idea.
The warm colors and light are really beautifully captured. The clarity is just amazing and some many details to see. I like this kind of composition.
