Fine capture of this lizard. Good POV and comp. I especially find the long toe on the hind foot fascinating, as well as the expression in the eye.

The big stuff...
Wonderful reptile...
Contrast is hard due to sunlight. Focus is a bit not-on-the-head..
That said..interesting pic. It must has taken an effort to get there and luck and patience to capture such an amazing animal.

Gallotia is not often seen in pics, and you presented it well even the blue dots are there. Thank you for showing us.

You know that the animal is interesting to biologists, because: the island form of the Lizard is bigger than the mainland form. Why is this so? On other islands (Galapagos, Mauritius, Seychelles et al.) you also find bigger lizards or turtles than on the mainland. There are interesting exceptions to this rule.

I like this picture and its impressive diagonal composition. I like exposure despite the complex light conditions. I also like great sharpness and details of the FG and main subject and blurred a bit neutral BG. As usual, very nice picture by you. My best wishes and compliments.
