I did not expect to meet a mushroom on that winter day. This little friend should improve his timing next year. And I should try to remove more dust from the slides next time.

...and I did not expect that a fungi survived under the snow...
Nice shot, but I guess you also need to clean the glass of your scanner, it is damaging your work.

congratulation, it is a good effect, original photo.
I think this is Hygrocybe virginea (Wulfenn 1781) P.D. Orton & Watling 1969 which resists a fall in temperature. Naturally this is true if first the specimen grows and then it is snowing.
