[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was trudging through this little creek on my way back from my Hunter Creek photoshoot and spotted a photo op!
I was a bit reluctant to get my camera and tripod out again, but what the heck. I tried a few different angles and focla lengths, and I liked this one the best.
Glad my tripod lets me get down nice and low!

I'm glad you stopped for this photo op too. Very nice composition with the leaves in the foreground. It must be so satisfying to live close to such great places to go hiking and photographing. Nice color saturation, and technique.

Evelynn : )

Nicely executed and well composed. While I like the colors, I also feel they seem to be lacking "punch". Good DOF and detail.

This one looks like it was well worth the time to stop and pull out the camera again...;-)
Beautiful composition!

Hi Tim,
Always feel good to view flowing water, especially when captured with a long exposure shot. Great autumn colors of the fallen leaves. Superb shot.

Tim,

Very nice capture,
I love all the different colors of the leaves.
The grean just amplifies the colors.

Excellent captured motion of water in combination with beautiful colours.

Hi Tim,
What a beautiful photo op. Such a pretty little rapid and so beautifully surrounded by the colored leaves. The entire photo seems to so the beautiful lush vegitation. The tree on the left is a beautiful, but it also feels a little disturbing. I keep returning to it. I think that when you crop the left part of the photo just untill you reach the stem of this one leave, the photo becomes more balanced. You will also elliminate the white sky portion. Its minor, and it is probably only me who feels like it.

Whereabouts is that? It looked like Holland Creek at first.
Good camera work, you captured the moving water and kept enough detail visible, while getting good colour in the leaves.
I have to agree with SunToucher about the log on the left; for some reason it is bothersome. I think you could crop it away and improve the picture thus.
Did you use a filter?
