Further to the "SOUND of MUSIC" posted on 2006 11 10 15:12 these clear - CLEAN - waters are on their way to the city of Calgary in Alberta Canada.

From the image you can note the dense forest that makes it a perfect home for the GRIZZLY BEAR, ELK, COUGAR, MOOSE and all sorts of wild birds and other smaller creatures.

It winds its way through those huge cliffs (this photograph has been registered from one of the edges of those cliffs) all the way into the MANMADE
"Glenmore Reservoir". Its overflow ends into the Bow River.

You will also note a DEEP HOLE on the riverbed. A lot of people fish in that "hole" that homes prize size
trout. NOT LEGAL. But, they do it.

This is the story of the "ELBOW RIVER, CALGARY BOUND,
in the KANANASKIS COUNTRY.

Hi Mario

What a superb place and what an impressive intact forest! It's hard to spot something like that here now-a-days, but i'm happy to learn that there still are places like this in the world :)
Nice high POV showing that dense habitat of all the animals you counted (and many more), excellent DOF and perspective and exposure management.
The trees from the FG are a bit distracting, but i'm sure you couldn't do anything about that :)

Anyway, Bravo and TFS
Horia

Hi Mario,
What an amazing view of this forest and the deep
"hole" digged by the river. I just imagine what it must be staying on the ciff and looking down.
"Grandiose" we say in french.
Best regards
Anne

HI Matio!
I'm glad to have the chance of seeing another of your remarkable landscapes. Here there are no minute details - everything is of great proportions - foreast, hills and the trout hole in the riverbed.
Anton

Hi Aires,

What a beautiful looking place and I like your capture of it. The trees in the foreground make me wanna put a little more effort in to see the lovely nature, just like I would if I was really there. The colours are great, good composition, POV and details and a very nice frame.
Thanks for sharing!

Greetings, Nel

Take care Ana:)

Bonjour Mario
Bravo pour la netteté et les détails de cette jolie prise de vue de ce beau paysage. Superbe exposition .Tres jolie la composition .
Au revoir et merci...JP

Hi Mario,
It is interesting to see what water can do with a rocky surface. The path of the river has created this beuatiful gorge. I am amazed about the many trees visable, there is almost no clear area to see. Interesting to see how you used the trees to frame parts of the photo.
TFS,
Niek
