Very nice composition - It seems the bug is giving the stem a hug. Can you perhaps give more info on this insect?

this insect is a Graphosoma italicum of the shieldbug (Pentatomidae) family.

Great first posting, the colours are wonderful. I think it would be nice to see it even closer...
