[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Tree Lizard (Urosaurus ornatus) is a small lizard found throughout much of the South-west United States and Mexico. They can be found from sea level to 9000 feet. They eat insects and spiders. They reproduce 1 to 6 times per year laying 2 to 13 eggs per clutch from March through to August. They have excellent camouflage with their blotch covered skin. They are said to live in mesquite, alder and cottonwood, oak, pine and juniper.

From a personal observation point of view, (over 3 days in March) I only saw this one on a tree, but I saw many others living in rock and boulder piles. Including the tail, this one was about four inches long.

Hi John,

This seems to be a good pic. But needs a little cropping to bring the lizard more into focus. Posted a little workshop(If my quota allows today else you can expect it tommorow), do take a look and let me know if you liked it :-).

Hi John

This, too, is a very nice picture of yours!
Again the composition is great, with this cute little lizard climbing this tree.
When i was in Nevada, i saw frequently a very simmilar looking species of lizard...but it was part of a different genuw...anyway, they looked alike much :)
The POV here is great and the DOF very well chosen. Perhaps the only nit here would be the slight softness of the details...nothing a little shapenning in various post-processing programs couldn't do :)

Hi John, This is a very clear captre of the lizard on the tree. The colours and clarity are superb. Good work. I guess this guy could move pretty quick. They seem to know only two speeds, fast and stop. YFS, Murray.

Hello John. I don't think this lizard exists here around my house as I have yet to see one. Looks like an overgrown house lizard. Thanks for sharing this one in good exposure cladding on that tree. The vertical framing works well here and thanks for sharing. Best regards. Jusni
