Hello Tim
A wonderful vista. The lighting is super, really like how the light is illuminating the snow, especially on the snowy peaks in the far mountains.Dedicated is how I describe the actions of the photographer.TFS

Hi Tim,
I like it and think the valley was correctly named as 'Chilliwack'! it certainly looks chilly. I like the framing with the combination of foreground and the valley but I think I would have preferred it without the tracks. They are not obvious enough to be a feature or focal point but are just obvious enough to be a distraction from beautiful landscape. - but that's my personal preference only. Nice shot - cheers Phil.

There is some nice light on the trees and snow here, Tim. I hope you made it back before dark. Looks like there is a smoky haze which we have seen so often in that valley...which I think is one for the most beautiful places. Our Columbia Gorge also traps smog, which is sad because it too is a special place. I do like the warm light. There is some noise in the sky and lower snow areas. Your ISO wasn't that high so I guess there just wasn't enough light for your exposure. I've lost a lot of shots because I just don't know enough yet to be able to quickly know just how to meter this kind of light.

Hi Tim,
The warm glow of the setting sun is beautifully captured on the snow. The clear view on the valley and the hazy look in the distance gives the photo a real serene look. My only really small nit is the partial foilage on the left. A slighty different POV would have been better.
TFS,
