[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Photo taken December 1st - a Pacific Golden Plover visits the shores of northern California, perhaps on migration, perhaps it will stay here alone during its first winter, ever. Usually travelling to Asia and the Pacific islands, Pacific Golden Plovers (mainly juveniles) will make it to our coast from northern to Central California coasts, to winter over.

neat photo of the bird in the sunlight, nice shadows, there seems to be some noise in the photo though and it does lack a bit of sharpness..but never the less its a nice shot .TFS
