A shot of some fungus on tree at Tandel hill, which is on the outskirts of Manchester near Oldham.

I was impressed at how much detail the 18-70mm lens captured.

You start with my favourite theme, hope you will post more of this soon, because I find it a very good post.
I think this is a Pleorotus ostreatus, just the same you can buy at the supermarket, although these are a bit darker due to light and wind. You captured them very beautifully. Welcome to TN.
