I cannot believe this photo has been viewed 25 times without points. It is outstanding (almost the perfect butterfly shot). The composition is excellent, the colors are well saturated and pleasant, the focus is very sharp showing much detail, the DOF is outstanding, and you have an excellent neutral green background. Well done!

perfectly well taken image, very artistic. Wonderful light, perfect point of view, composition of objects and colours is delightful.

Because of the prolonged black stripe leading to the eyespot on the hindwing I think the butterfly might rather be the
"Eastern Swallowtail" (Papilio glaucus).

Good to read your nice words about TN. I guess lack of sufficient time is a problem for many of us. Even so, it is a most welcome pleasure to drop in every now and then, and find such awarding contributions as yours.

What a superb macro!
This anise-swallow tails looks more that impressive!
Excellent management of both the POV and the DOF which gave you a very good isolation of the subject from the lovely blurred BG.
Also the sharpness is impecable and the colors and tones are charming.
