| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A sure sign that Fall is in the air is the flowering of the goldenrod and of course the fall-aster. Years ago I have retrieved some tall asters < 3-4 feet> from a meadow by Beaverbank, NS and planted them in my "bushveld" where I try to attract insects and birds alike. The aster have spread nicely, and are generally late bloomers.
Sometimes I get lucky and while shooting wildflowers a kind insect will appear...
On this day the light was right, AND an eager bumble-bee joined the party. |

AND, a very nice composition. An added
bonus is the bumbler who seems to have stumbled onto the aster....and found it
a good spot to "rest".

It's lovely, Jay,
these colours, I love violet flowers.
And this cute bumble-bee, it's time to have them back! As I saw on TV Canada and North-America have so much snow this year as we had in the last winter. I hope it will melt soon and all the colourful flowers are back than.

Hi Jay,
very colourful capture of these wildflowers that grow here in Alberta as well.That buzzy bee is a nice bonus to this composition as well.A good photo overall with some background noise in the dark spots but fine none the less and thanks for the upload. Bob
