Hi,

Goutham had narrated the episode of our visit to the Bannerghatta Butterfly park. After spending more than an hour to get permission to take our SLR cameras inside the Butterfly park, we were constantly reminded to move forward. At one time the attendant said that he had given us 20 minutes time instead of the 15 minutes normally allowed.

The park however was a beautiful sight with 3000 butterflies of various species flipping around you in beautiful colors. Here is the picture of Common or Striped Tiger captured at the Butterfly Park. Archana had posted a picture of this butterfly some time ago. I wanted to share this picture of Striped Tiger perched on a dry leaf.

This is also my first experiment wih my Sigma 180mm Macro lens on m Pentax *istDL.

Why do they have such bureaucratic hassles at the park, Murali? On the contrary, they should encourage people to make the best use of it. But then ...
Very good image of this pretty butterfly. Colours and details are just perfect.
Happy New Year!
