oooooh...this is gorgeous, and cooooold! "Brrr" The composition is strong and the light is just fabulous. I wonder how it would look if one were to crop off a little bit of the top...just so that the bright OE area high in the sky didn't compete with your amazing focal point of light on the water. When I scroll the photo up a bit, I like it. It also moves the horizon line a little higher. VERY NICE

This view will directly land in my favorites! I love it! I am not a specialist enough to criticize in detail this image... What i like in it is the colours, the sharpness and the dramatical and cold feeling in it. Great shot!

Een gelukkig 2007. Dat het een super jaar mag worden.

Ik heb deze foto helemaal over het hoofd gezien, en da's zeker niet terecht. Echt een super mooie foto met een prachtig vergezicht en heel erg mooi licht. Je belichting is gewoon perfect, met erg mooi detail in de voorgrond. Al vind ik het wel jammer dat ik op sommige plekken de randen van de bewerking iets te duidelijk kan zien. Maar dat neemt niets weg van de schoonheid van deze foto.

The scene would be great with just the water, distant mountains and that lovely light, but some foreground interest and great texture is provided by the snow covered foliage, so even better!

thats a monster foreground with a perfect backdrop..
crisp rendering of all the edges and tones
i thought it was later in the year than october but being so far north looks more snowy
