| Unfortunately I don't know exactly what these particular molluscs are. This was taken in Barra de Navidad in March of 2005. The local fishermen tend to stick to within a 3 hr. distance around the bay so if anyone else knows what they might be... I would be interested in knowing. |

They are clams, the exact especie is more difficult, but I would say Venerupis pullastra. Mmmmm, how tasty :b
