The Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park is one of my favorites. I was looking over an album I had put together of some of my shots of Glacier this past year and noticed that I had taken two shots of the same area - one in June and one in Sept. So I had to play with a composite here for TN. I wasn't sure whether I prefered a blending or a straight line. Another version is shown as a WS.
The two shots aren't a perfect perspective match because the top one was shot at 17mm, and the bottom at 10mm.
Too bad I never made it back for the late fall scene. Whenever I had a chance to go it was cloudy. So maybe next year.
PP: A contrast adjustment. A bit of sensor dust cloned out. Then stitched together with PhotoStudio.
RP: Although I liked the surreal look of the blended photos, I agree with Evelynn that the straightforward border makes the logic of the shot more apparent. Happy New Year! |

That's beautiful, Mike,
I like the view with the different colours and vegetation. Very well done, thanks.
A happy New Year, bye

Hi Mike,
I am flattered that you agree with ME! I do think I like this straightforward approach better. They are both nice shots.
Thank you for all your critiques and support this past year. I wish you lots of great photo opportunities in 2007!
