[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was the only Chinstrap in the huge Gentoo colony at Yankee Harbor. I guess he/she wanted to wait until the weather got a little better (it was really windy and started to snow later) before he left to find his mates again.

All the brushtail penguins (Gentoo, Adelie and Chinstrap) often share the same areas but they don't interbreed.
