The giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) is an African even-toed ungulate mammal, the tallest of all land-living animal species. Males can be 4.8 to 5.5 metres (16 to 18 feet) tall and weigh up to 1,360 kilograms (3,000 pounds). The record-sized bull was 5.87 m (19.2 feet) tall and weighed approximately 2,000 kg (4,400 lbs.). [2] Females are generally slightly shorter and weigh less than the males do.

The giraffe is related to deer and cattle, but is placed in a separate family, the Giraffidae, consisting only of the giraffe and its closest relative, the okapi. Its range extends from Chad to South Africa.

By now they are passes many years to you but the day of the gita one to the zoo is still alive in the memory.
E' possible to approach in car but for the zone monkeys to you is more advisable to go in trenino poichè the likeable little animals hopping everywhere could scratch means or to take apart some you leave. The Zoosafari is the greatest faunistico park of Italy, and boasts beyond 200 species various. Surface of beyond 140 h extends on one of land, in great part to Mediterranean spot, to the feet of hills of the Forest of Fasano, one of the beautifulst localities of the Puglia, to single 7 km. from one charming sea. The park is born the 25 July 1973 thanks to two lovers of the nature, Matteo Colucci and Angelo Lombardi,developing themselves and becoming larger themselves from year to year and accommodating in this naturalistic paradise living animals of the 5 continents. In this park the animals live in absolute freedom, without slabs or barriers, and therefore it is possible to admire them, to photograph them, filmarli in a nearly natural atmosphere.

Hi Stefan

This is a lovely bottom-up POV to capture this magnificent animal at relative close quarters. Come to think about it, how would you get any other POV of a giraffe that’s standing ±7 metres tall unless you stood on a very long ladder. Like any thing else on a giraffe, those lips really seems a size too big (ha-ha-ha) as do the bony growths on its forehead.

Your composition is fine, but it is a slight pity of the tree that had to decide to be in the frame as well. This unfortunately gives the impression of some strange things growing out of the giraffes head. Other wise the BG comprising of the beautiful blue sky would have been a knock-out. The colours are very nice and well saturated and the details is really sharp.
