This is a superb capture!
I really like the mood of the picture and the colors and tones everywhere - not only on the bird and plant, but on the BG, too.
The focus here is impeccable and the DOF is outstanding, keeping everything in the FG in full focus while blurring the BG nicely.
Also the exposure is very well managed, the sharpness is excellent and the side POV exceptional - it gives a great angle for that lovely curved beak!
All-in-all a splendid composition.
