Hoi John,
Prachtige opname, met een perfecte helderheid en super mooi detail. De kleine scherpte diepte is perfect, en geeft de volle aandacht op de kever. Misschien is het blad is te groen, maar dat durf ik niet met zekerheid te zeggen.

Un verdadero placer volver a verte en TN luego de tanto tiempo y con tus más de 700 presentaciones en TE.
Una estética imagen con excelente punto de vista que junto al encuadre elegido conforma una bella composición.
El escaso DOF utilizado genera un gran foco sobre la cabeza del insecto y un OOF hacia atrás muy agradable.
Intensos colores y un marco sobrio completan la imagen de tu regreso.

Used scarce DOF generates a great focus on the head of the insect and an OOF back very pleasant.

Bedankt voor de reactie op mijn website,ik zie dat u een imposante collectie op TE heeft staan met veelal schitterende opname,zelf ben ik meer een liefhebber van het fotaograferen van de natuur en al heb ik nog een hele weg te gaan ik zie zelf mijn fotos gaanderweg beter worden mede dankzij TN,deze opname van de meikever ziet er goed uit,mooie kleuren en DOF in een mooie compositei,bedankt

Great shot John! Why i like this one so much is the beautiful colours,that green surrounding and pastel coloured chafer, what a beautiful blue eyes! Great composition achieved with amazing framing.

Very nice first (not because first) close-up shot and welcome to our community.
I like your subject and perfect reproduction of the bug and selected POV. Colors and lighting are very good too. DOF is shallow a bit (lower aperture value is more convenient) and the point of focusing is displaced hardly forward as it seems to me. However, well done and TFS. Waiting for your new pictures. I hear you're quite a legend! Nice to meet you.
Great shot, full of detail. The bug is inquisitive of you! Perhaps he'll make himself a bit more attractive next time...

Nice sharpness right on his snout. There is some compression.noise in parts of the BG but I can see the overall shot is a good clear and bright one.

Fine capture of a Cockchafer taken from a good frontal POV to show the head, antennae and fron front legs with perfect sharpness. great lighting and a fine natural composition among the leaves.

Hello John. Trek Nature is one of the most strict sites among trek sites. I have a few flowers removed because they are cultivated. This bug looks good on the green leaf. Nice lighting with the subject placement in good framing. Well done John and keep posting for us to see. Best regards. Jusni
