This is my first collection. I used Paint Shop Pro for this montage. (I dont know how to do in CS2)
Each photo was reduced in size tweeked individualy and framed. Then pasted onto a blank space. I hope I did it right!!!

The Superb Fairy-wrens are found south of the Tropic of Capricorn through eastern Australia and Tasmania.
The males are quite distinct, but the females and young birds are often difficult to separate. The length of the tail can help as the young grow thier tails slowly.
They feed on insects and other small arthropods. These are caught mostly on the ground, but may also be taken from low bushes. Feeding takes place in small social groups.

G'day Paul,
These little devils are not easy to capture as they constantly on the move. So I think this collage with the female, young and several POV's of the Superb Fairy Wren is an excellent idea that has come off well, each shot being sharp and well presented.

Hello Paul,
This is a bird we only managed to see briefly while in Australia. It seemed to be flitting around a lot and hard to photograph. Pity, beause it is so lovely! You're capturing their behaviour well in your collage but I think the frames you are using in the middle are rather distracting, plain ones would be better. Even so it is very nice!

Hey thanks for the compliment on my montage. Your montage of Australian fairy birds is pretty nice too, I like the beveled edges, gives it that popped out 3-d look, very creative. What part of Australia do you live? I'm guessing Queensland from the majority of your postings. I love Australia so much I named one of my daughters 'Sydney'. :)

Hi Paul. Very nice work. Clear and with well saturated colours. Lovely variety of settings and characters. Thanks for the advice. I have marked the spot, so to speak. I intend to be there on a sunnier day as my current shot was taken on an overcast day at 800ISO, hence the lack of definition and the somewhat muted colour. Regards. Klaudio.
