This is a common wolf snake, a lovely small snake that lives off geckos,smaller snakes etc. Nocturnal in habit & a very adept climber, found in human habitation.It mimics the deadly krait for looks & also the odour it emits.We come across this species quite often here in mumbai.

Hi Badruddin,
Nice capture, showing good details even though the focus on his head is a little soft. He has very soft markings on his brown skin. Thanks for sharing Badruddin.
