[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi guys.

Haven't posted for a few days as I've had a load of assignments due. Have a week off now so expect me to make it up!

This is from Richmond Park and shows a Mute Swan gliding majestically towards me. He was staring straight at me which was pretty neat.

The original photo placed him with equal space around him but I thought because of the angle of his body and the water ripples going off to the left I would try and balance the two out leaving the neck in the middle instead. What do you think?

PP: cropped, sharpened , reduced highlights, resized for web.

Hope you're all well, thanks for looking

G'day Simon
I love the colours in the beak. Very well done not to white out the swan, many people do not componsate for this in thier photography.
It looks as though the pond was very calm, if so did you happen to take a similar frame with its reflection!

Hello Simon well focussed and good use of dof for the neck I think its a creative effort would have waited for some water drops from the beak for added interest. Don't envy your teacher role as it seems half the teachers in the country want to retire on stress grounds :-(. TFS rgds Necip.

Hello Simon,
Well detailed capture of this swan, he looks as if he is steaming your way with that big bow wake.
