I took this atop Mount Mansfield in the Green Mountains of Vermont. This peak is the highest point in Vermont (4,393ft) and is covered by roughly 200 acres of artic tundra on its peak. This shot is looking south along the spine of the Green Mountains. The sharp peak on the left side is Camels Hump.
Cheers. |

Fantastic landscape Wes.
The place looks amazingly mystical. The blue hue is tantalising and increases in each layer. Marvellous composition though I might be tempted to leave out the rocky outcrop as then we would be completely involved with the ranges and nothing else.
There must be such a mellowness and serenity up there in the mountains, great job in representing it here.
Regards
Simon

Hi Wes,
Great display of different hues of blue. Reminds me of the Blue Ridge Mountains down in VA and NC. I would crop the sky a tad bit though.
Best wishes,

Hello Wes
Wonderful blue tones of the rolling layers of hills. I count 10 different shades of blue. Great shot.

Hello Wes !
Ilove this picture ! The different nuances of blue are wonderful, and your composition as well as your POV are excellent. The picture seems to come out of a dream. Very well done !
Valerie.
Love the blue hue casted over the mountains, gives such a tranquil view, nice work.
