Bonjour Edith,
Magnifique cette capture!
I like so much the sharpness and colors got on the fungi.
The green moss adds a beautiful color contrast to the picture.
The central composition is decorate with the tiny branches that breaks the symmetry.
Felicitacions et merci de partager.
Amities,
JM

Hi Edith, I don't know what is this but it's beautiful, great colors, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hello Edith,
this is probably
- Coriolus versicolor
which is found on dead tree trunks mostly of deciduous trees. It is not really posisonous but non-palatable.
Best wishes, Peter
P.S. Perhaps Felipe 'extramundi' will add some information or correct me:

I think Peter has given you the correct clue, the only thing that the "standarized" name that is used now is Trametes versicolor, but Coriolus is a a synonym. The common name is Turkey tail fungus.
Nice picture, I think you could have applied a bit more USM, but the composition is very nice.
TFS and reagards.

Bonsoir Edith
Pour l'identification du sujet...désolé
mais belle composition, cadrage et couleurs.
Amicalement Robi

Hello Edith nice central composition of this interesting fungi good contrasting layers bright green mossy foreground with darker background that seperates well tfs rgds Necip.

Bonjour Edith,

Bien vu! Merci,
Claudine

hi edith,

sharpness could have been better,
tfs & regards
pankaj

This kind of fungus does not perish quickly and turns into a hard substance, Edith. This is a universal species and is found in the mountain regions of India too.
The shape and colours of this fungus are well captured in you picture.
TFS.

bonjour edith

Bonjour,
Que voilà une photo bien décorative.
Bonne journée.

EDITH,
This is Turkey Tail Fungi. It grows well in Goa, India where
I was born. It is not poisonous. Edible in very EARLY stages;
not tastey. Goes down well with spices etc.
This is a great register.
Well composed and presented.
Congratulations.
Friendly greeting from Canada from Mario.

Bonjour Edith,
This is a polypore:
"Polypores are a group of tough, leathery poroid mushrooms similar to boletes, but typically lacking a distinct stalk. The technical distinction between the two types of mushrooms is that polypores do not have the spore bearing tissue continuous along the entire underside of the mushroom."

Interesting change from other shots in your gallery! Well seen, well shot! Tfs, Jay

Bonjour Edith,

Colorer naturel. La bonne composition. Le champignon est uniquement un peu flou. Le mos est bien aigu ! A bientot et TFS BOB
