Hi Stefan a difficult bird to photograph even on a dull day as the dynamic range required is tough to expose for you managed some nice details in both the black and the white detail. A very nice pose captured with a good perch and an excellent composition. Bokeh looks nice and it's good to see the full frame 5D effect coming through tfs rgds Necip.

Hi Stefan,
This a picture with a lot of character!
You got an excellent shot of this bird, in a very good pose, with the tail aligned along the trunk to make an excellent composition.
The background got is so good with all that blurred spots of color.

I love this composition! The pose of the bird is really nice. Details are good and exposure seems OK even if some white parts are a little OE. This must be a very difficult bird to calibrate because of those two opposite colors. I like this green BG too. This is a nice specie and good use of ISO 800 as it don’t seems that noisy to me. Very fine capture of a slightly worn Magpie.

Hi Stefan.
I always wanted to picture this bird. I like it very much. Unfortunately, I have not such opportunity yet. You shot is perfect composed, cropped and coloured. POV and DOF are really wonderful too. White spot on the bird wing is OE a bit. It is difficult to exposure such contrast objects. Noise at BG is visible too. However, very nice picture. My compliments and TFS.
