Dragonflys are a very lovely subject for taking but very difficult, I try every summer but I can never one good photograph. Very lovely picture, very well done!

Hi Vicma,
this dragon is so wonderful, I love them very much and know, it's not easy to find them in a sitting position. I never saw one sitting, only flying and too fast to make a shot.
The eyes are impressive and the wings are glittering so nice, thanks and greetings

You're lucky to have got such a great shot of this beautiful dragonfly! We had them here last summer but didn't get any good shots. They are so beautiful and so big! Your picture is razor sharp and the blue colour fantastic!

What an exactness of your work. Great reproduction of tiniest details of the dragonfly and its colors. You have selected DOF precisely. Level of sharpness is defined excellently. I like well detailed but not sharp BG. Very impressive well done picture. My compliments and TFS.

This is an exotic looking dragonfly, Vicma.
Nice shot except that I find over-sharpening affecting the wings to some extent. Maybe it is my laptop screen at fault.

What a special post! It looks like this Dragonfly is part of the sky and on the vegetation it’s on :) The branch looks like it with its leaves that are similar to its wings and the sky is the same color than its body; this is superb with excellent details, composition and exposure. This is very well done, congratulations!

Lovely detail especially of those beautiful transparent wings.I also noticed it does seem a touch dull and Frank has done quite a good job on his workshop though it does seem to lack a bit of contrast so I also made one....your comments welcome.A nice composition with its surroundings with just the right DOF.TFS and a good evening to you.
