Nice inflight shot with full wingspan and good eye contact. Also wonderful blue sky. Shooting the bright white gull in bright sun is a challenge. I do not know what mode you used and your experience level, but this is what I would try as to avoid over exposure. I would try manual mode, choose Aperture of between f8 and f11 and adjust to faster shutter speed so that shot was underexposed by about 1 f stop. (I hope that makes sense).

Hi Jim,
great view you've captured, i like the fact his eyes and head are level but the rest is at that briliant diagonal angle. Nice colours and sharpness.
