| The night after the Lunar eclipse I'd like to show you this Black-eared Kite Milvus lineatus, flying in front of the moon. I must say it was not easy to make this shot, even with 700 (!) kites flying above my head. The sky is quite a big place :-). Taken in Bandar Abbas - Iran, at the slaughterhouse. Thanks to Harvey van Diek for the idea. |

Paul: It's crazy that this one hasn't been reviewed yet. Thought it was just another eclipse cliche at first. Unique photo of the moon and the kite with great timing. Moon is too close to the edge, but works fine with the bird. Consider cropping from bottom. Don't know why the kite is unsharp at 1/1000 sec but that too works as it accentuates motion next to the static moon. Very well done. Slaughterhouse? Regards,
Hakan
