Looking at your landscape with the lens in mind, Piotr :-)!
An artistic capture par excellence.
You did not reveal your exposure time here, but it should be close to one second.
The general dark and grey outlook to the picture with minutes tinges of orange in the corners of the sky lend your picture a classic look.

Absolutely beautiful Piotr.

Some days I regret usually only visiting Scotland in the winter and this is the reason why! Though I haven't forgotten the midge.

Excellent exspoure by the way, the lovely soft sea against the stilohuette of the peaks and those almost silky rocks in the foreground add up to a very beautiful picture.

Hi Piotr, this is a beautiful, serene shot. Wonderful colour tones and depth. Obviously and excellent exposure making a lovely composition. I will try and visit the islands in Scotland sometime this year. Excellent work.

Hi Piotr

This is indeed a splendid capture! The clarity of all the elements here is simply impeccable.
The rocks in the FG are charming and give very good attention to this segments, while the long shutter and water creates a lovely effect on them.
The horizon is just outstanding captured and it brings the only patches of warm colors in the composition.
The sky is wonderful and well darkened by the ND grads...how come it was so clear? ;))
All-in-all this is a fantastic work and i would sure love to see more :) ...maybe a couple after you'll catch that long awaited Aurora ;)

Incredible image, Piotr. This is the first photo of yours I have run across on TrekNature... but I am going to take some time here and look through others! I spent a couple weeks in Scotland in 2006, and found it to be an amazing place. Other than the images I captured atop Ben Nevis, however, I didn't get much stunning from the trip. This photo makes me want to go back and try again... tomorrow! Thank you for sharing your work on this site - I love this shot - mystic, magical... it looks like a painting. The fog/mist/haze over the water is stunning.
